Ray Varley is a data management and resource estimation geologist with 25 years experience across exploration, data management and resource estimation. Ray was Sons of Gwalia's Principal Resource Geologist- Resource Modeling and Data Management where he was instrumental in developing procedures for these processes across thier gold and tantalum operations and mentoring geological staff in the use of these processes.
Ray has worked as a data management and resource estimation consultant since 2006 and is familiar with a variety of industry standard software including Surpac-Gemcom, Micromine, MS Access and SQL, AcQuire, Datashed, Leapfrog and the Microsoft Office suite. He is conversant with IT management, QAQC of assay data, data import, export and validation routines.
