PROJECTS

Leonora and Southern Cross Gold Projects (St Barbara Mines Ltd)

Higginsville Project (Avoca Resources Ltd)

The Higginsville Project is situated between Kambalda and Norseman in the Eastern Goldfields of WA. It is s significant new gold project that consists of over 1Moz contained gold in a series of high-grade lodes. Avoca are currently in the process of conducting a feasibility study into optimal development scenarios.

Digirock has provided an Exploration Geologist to assist in the logging of diamond drill core being produced as part of the Resource Definition program at Higginsville

BHP - Mineral Exploration Group

BHP is one of the largest nickel miner and explorer in Australia. It’s main operations are based in the northeastern Goldfields of WA where they hold an extensive package of highly prospective tenements.

Digirock has supplied a Senior Exploration Geologist to supervise drilling for nickel sulphide mineralisation in the Leinster-Mt Keith region.

Halls Creek and East Kimberley Projects (Northern Star Resources Ltd)

Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture

The Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture manages a number of tenements across the Pilbara of Western Australia that are highly prospective for iron ore mineralisation. These inlude the Red Hill project which is currently the subject of a significant resource drill-out.

Digirock has been involved with the APIJV since November 2005 and provided teams to undertake grassroots iron ore exploration on most of the regional tenements managed by APIJV. Work has included regional rock chip sampling using helicopters for access - see the photos in our gallery.

Tropicana Project (AngloGold Ashanti and Independence Group)

Pardoo Iron Ore Project (Atlas Iron Limited)

Kagara Ltd

Kagara Ltd is an Australian company with interests in the exploration, mining and production of a diverse range of commodities.  The company aims to build a diversified Australian resources group which is a world leader in the low-cost production of zinc, copper, nickel and gold.

Digirock is managing exploration and resource definition drilling at Kagara's super-giant Admiral bay Zn-Pb Project which is located 140km south of Broome in Western Australia.  Digirock has been involved in the project since May 2007, with the objective of delineating an Inferred Resource of between 50 and 75 million tonnes of zinc-lead minrealisation, grading between 8% and 10% Zn+Pb.

With the top of mineralisation at about 1,200m below the surface, Digirock became involoved in the project for its deep drilling and project mangagement expertise.  Drilling has involved the use of an onshore oil and gas (mud rotary) rig to drill 1,200m precollars followed by conventional diamond tails through the mineralisation.  Digirock's involvement in the project has seen 10 holes now successfully completed.

Fox Resources

Fox Resources, a base metals explorer and producer with nickel, copper and zinc pojects in the Pilbara of Western Australia.  Fox is commited to growth through production expansion, diversification and exploration success.

Fox commenced an aggressive exploration program in September 2002, targeting nickel sulphide systems within 15km of the Radio Hill plant, situated 35km south of Karratha in the West Pilbara region.

Digirock currently has a team of geologists undertaking iron ore and gold exploration on behalf of Fox Resources on their wholly-owned and JV tenements.  Work involves mapping and rock chip sampling, compilation of historical surface and drilling data into MapInfo and Micromine, target generation and exploration program planning.

Aurox Resources

Aurox Resources is an Australian owned company with current interests in iron ore, magnetite, copper and gold.  It is currently running programmes in the northern goldfields and north-west Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

Digirock has been assisting Aurox since August 2007 in its definition of the large Balla Balla magnetite (layered intrusion-hosted) iron ore deposit through the provision of geologists to log RC chips and core as part of Aurox's major resource delineation program.

Goldstar Resources

Digirock has been involved with the project since May 2007, having supplied geologists to assist with exploration and resource definition drilling,  One of Digirock's Senior Geologists has subsequently transferred to Goldstar as a full time employee.

Cazaly Resources

Jillewarra is a gold-copper project covering a large part of the Mingah Range Greenstone Belt, where significant gold and lesser base metal structural targets and layered nickeliferous ultramafic/mafic skills remain to be fully explored.  Recent exploration by the company returned rock chip results grading 10.8 % Cu and 8.5 % Cu and 73.2 g/t Au from a prospective basalt-ultramafic contact horizon in the area.

Digirock's layered-intrusion specialist geologist Finn Barrett has assited with field mapping over the Jillewarra project area.
